Sanbopolei Temple is the most important ancient temple in the former Angkor period. It was the sixth generation capital of Cambodia in ancient times.

位于距离金边北部193公里的磅通、离省会沿64号公路25公里处的宁静森林里。

三波坡雷寺由阇耶跋摩一世于公元七世纪初开始兴建，年代比著名的吴哥窟更早。据说尚存的寺庙共有257座，其中52座依然矗立，其他的已倒塌，淹没在泥土里。

It is located in a quiet forest 193 km north of Phnom Penh and 25 km from the provincial capital along Route 64.
The Sanbopolei Temple was built in the early seventh century AD by Jeremiah I, earlier than the famous Angkor Wat. It is said that there are 257 surviving temples, 52 of which are still standing, others have collapsed and are submerged in the mud.

Prasat Tor（狮庙）位于密林的深处，这片寺院面积堪称三波坡雷（Sambor Prei Kuk）之最。沿着松软的林间小路，穿过Prasat Sambor（三波寺）向南，虽然丛林茂密，小路纵横，但景区内向游客兜售KROMA（柬埔寨围巾）的孩子们很愿意为你作向导。

Prasat Tor is located in the depths of the jungle. This temple is the largest in the area of Sambor Prei Kuk. Along the soft forest path, pass south through Prasat Sambor (Sanpo Temple). Although the jungle is dense and the road is vertical and horizontal, the children who sell KROMA (Cambodia Scarf) to tourists are willing to guide you.

狮庙核心建筑入口面向南方，门前两尊张嘴怒吼的石狮子，是这座寺院最大的亮点，院落四周坍塌的围墙可以轻易的还原出寺院曾经巨大的院落，一路走过来林间小路边散落着更多的没有名称的佛塔，林间安静，坐在寺院的台阶上努力的想象着这里曾经的模样。

The entrance of the core building of the lion temple faces the south. The two stone lions roaring in front of the gate are the biggest highlights of this temple. The collapsed walls around the courtyard can easily restore the once huge courtyard of the monastery, and walk along the forest road. There are more stupas without names, the forest is quiet, sitting on the steps of the temple and trying to imagine what it used to be.

三波坡雷寺是柬埔寨第三个被列入世界文化遗产的古迹。此前还有吴哥窟（建于12世纪）和柏威夏寺（建于11世纪）分别于1992年和2008年被列入世界遗产。
